Thursday, December 2, 2010 - Dark ruby color; Ripe berry and a touch of vanilla oak on the nose; Red fruit, cassis and a touch of chocolate flavors with a medium finish. Not a Napa Bruiser wine. Balanced with a lift of acid on the finish. Med- complexity but there is a possibility for short-term improvement. As others note it was a nice match with food but might be overwhelmed by some foods such as a very charred steak. Decanting recommended.
