Saturday, March 16, 2019 - Brought this to Venue by Sebastian to share with my wine buddies over dinner. We had tomato bread, romanesco, burrata, cold pasta with truffle oil, angel hair pasta with sakura ebi, chermoula chicken, braised lamb foreshank,chilean seabass, duck confit, poached foie gras, pan seared foie gras, grilled octopus and grilled spice pork collar.

Decanted for an hour before pouring. Dark purple in colour with notes of blackcurrants, lacquer, some chocolate, coffee, and black spices.

Made up of 40% Mourvedre, 28% Syrah, 27% Grenache and 5% Counoise, this wine is wonderfull integrated with all the elements in a wonderful harmony.

Wholesome, delicious and likable. Will get more of this wine the next time it is on promotion.
