2009 Sea Smoke Pinot Noir Southing

Community Tasting Note

92 Points

Sunday, February 12, 2012 - my first Sea Smoke, and I was expecting something in the full-blown Cali style of Kosta-Browne. That's not what this is. Rather, it's a restrained, elegant and feminine wine with pure fruit and fascinating nose that mixed varietal funk with a unique polymer note that, while it sounds weird, was not at all unpleasant. Really good. 92
