Monday, December 16, 2013 - Double decanted prior to consumption. Excellent, vivid aromas of dark berries, forest floor, savory spice, and worn cedar. The palate is medium bodied, precise, and layered with dark berry fruit, underbrush, and spice box. The finish is more red fruited, with excellent acidity and framing tannins. This is delicious, but will undoubtedly improve in the cellar. Hold.
