90 Points

Thursday, April 22, 2010 - Light yellow. Commendable nose of rose petals, petrol, and lemon-lime. Dry to off-dry with refreshing acidity on a light-medium body. Flavor focuses on the lemon-lime while the nose continues to reflect the rose petal and petrol in a marvelous juxtaposition -- delicious and with character. Medium finish on balanced citric notes. Overall, nicely balanced. Be forewarned: This is not a sweet fruit bomb. It is more along the lines of a domestic “dry riesling,” German “kabinett trocken,” or Alsatian riesling -- and has the personality to stand on its own. Outstanding QPR.
