Saturday, April 30, 2011 - The nose is tart and totally awesome! It reminds me of a delicious rhubarb crisp with all of the tart, earthy, and sweet notes you can imagine. I can't wait to dive in! It's delicate on contact showing roses alongside the rhubarb crisp suggested on the nose. Spice mixes with rhubarb and strawberry flavors, and the tannins and acidity work gently and set in slowly. the structure is light and delicate which works well to make this wine very approachable right away. 90+
