Thursday, December 5, 2013 - Crush's Annual Champagne Gala 2013 (Crush Wine & Spirits, Midtown Manhattan.): Krug-like nose: malty and creamy. Rough lemon - yeasty. Enters with lemon and sweetness on palate - light, creamy and delicious. Soft mousse. The combination of sweetness and acidity remind me of a Mosel Riesling. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17.5-18/20.
