Saturday, June 7, 2014 - Happy to have found this in the cellar. My last bottle of '09 Dolinsek, and a stern reminder not to open my Bedrocks too early. This wine is delicious on opening, but give it an hour or two and it definitively rocks. Big briary dark fruits, a touch of spice, faint oak, all carrying the high-ish ABV nicely. If it gets too warm, the alcohol comes forward, so keep it closer to cellar temp. Otherwise, a rich, hedonistic wine, but one with a fair bit of style and class. Note to self: double down on the heritage blends!
