Wednesday, February 26, 2014 - Hjalle, ME och SS letar vin (Hemmavid (Umeå, North of Sweden)): Early maturity is here so let's rejoice. This is coming around nicely.
Very complex and layered nose: Barnyard, cumin, slight iodine character, brown loam and toffee.
In the mouth you get the aromas again, with the addition of maturing fruit. Acids M+, tannins M++. Superbly balanced and long. This is little rustic but not at all disturbingly so.
Me like!
5th btl and two to go. Will try really hard to keep the next one for a number of years.
