Saturday, March 23, 2024 - Much better than my last bottle. I highly encourage a long decant for this one. Crisp acidity gives lift to this bottle. Not necessarily indicative of the gruenchers plot but certainly 1er quality Chambolle. Floral notes with a taste of cranberry and strawberry...this had nice heft in terms of weight and a medium/long finish. An enjoyable bottle from the underrated 2008 vintage. Can be drank now and probably has another 3-5 years in terms of a solid drinking window.
