Sunday, January 1, 2012 - Dark ruby, garnet with medium viscosity in the glass. Nose of cherry, slate, plum and cinnamon. Secondary cedar. Medium body with ripe black cherry, plum and raspberry on the palate. Red Hots on the back. Nice balance of fruit, minerality and acidity. Some chalkiness in mouthfeel. Medium finish. Paired well with pasta.
