Friday, September 16, 2011 - Dark ruby in color and a beautiful nose. Smells like a Pinot should smell. First taste was very fruit forward, pleasant notes of cherry, slightly oaky. Medium bodied not very long on the finish but not too young. Very easy to drink and it paired beautifully with spaghetti and meatballs. Low acid. The only thing it lacked was that earthy, medicinal ending that I so love in top tier Pinots. For the money though it was a great every day wine. I'd definitely buy it again.
