90 Points

Thursday, May 5, 2022 - Medium garnet. Some sediments. Some (but not dominant) carbonic maceration note (Overtly pretty floral scent). Notes of violet, potting soil, mushroom, black tea. Medium body. Very high acidity. Rich and ripe fruit of red currant and pomegranate. Cheese-like savory note emerging in midpalate.More tannic and more richly textured than usual Beaujolais. Finishes slightly hottish with floral and spicy notes. I see some tertiary characters emerging, but this is still a fruit-driven wine.
