Friday, October 14, 2022 - Saturated cork. Opened two hours before serving and decanted for an hour. Light sediment. Surprisingly dark clear garnet in the glass. Intriguing woody nose.
Initial intensity broadens out into a sensual, poised, rich palate. Sigh of satisfaction.
There's no need to make up flavour-similies; this just tastes of genuine classical old-style claret. Which is really like nothing else. Gorgeous.
