94 Points

Wednesday, April 30, 2008 - Deep garnet, brown at rim; intense tar, black currants, plums, wood smoke, damp earth; restrained ripe berry, cherry, medium-full body, good acidity, firm tannins, long finish.
Decanted 1 hr. Mature yet youthful. A concentrated, complex nose, sexy palate and seriously long finish. Drinking well now and for another decade. Delicious with t-bone. WOTY.
