Saturday, May 7, 2022 - A very good wine from a difficult vintage. Still holding up very well and is very much in its drinking window. Need to decant 2hours prior to get maximum enjoyment.

Full of quite intense spice - cinnamon, cloves and white pepper, it has sinewy tannin with a refined backbone. On which one gets ripe currant, tobacco, cassis and a hint of menthol. A solid finish without any fireworks.

Drink now or 5+ years.
