Tuesday, February 21, 2023 - Magnum enjoyed at Union Sq Cafe in NYC. Have been fearful for many years that this bottle would be a disappointment, though recent member ratings seem to have been wandering higher. The wine was in beautiful condition and was a joy to drink! No sign of browning, understated but lovely nose and no fading over the course of three hours of air exposure. A shoutout to Madame Borie, who we met at a wonderful Grand Puy Lacoste tasting recently, for inspiring us to try the wine!
