Wednesday, September 11, 2002 - Ruby-red. I didn't notice much age at the rim. A fantastic nose of dark berries and leaves. A faint vanilla scent also. All the elements of this wine were cooking up a wonderful symphony of harmony, elegance and class. Smooth and flowy in the mouth, tickling all the sweet spots on the palate. Gorgeous. The finish was a chapter all to itself. Long, detailed, and focused. Yummm.
