Thursday, November 15, 2012 - Dark ruby core. Fairly intense nose of strawberry, cherry and cola, with some more volatile notes of spearmint and phenol. Medium-bodied, with good acidity and soft tannins. The primary fruit (cherry and strawberry) is vibrant and intense, and the oak is subtle and well-integrated. Length is long, with a slightly leafy finish. Really beautiful. Should drink beautifully for many years.
