Sunday, February 14, 2010 - Decanted in the bottle for approx. 3.5 hours before drinking at the Patina restaurant. Liquid gold in color, and consistent with the prior bottle, it is optically thick. Dried orange peel, honey, and stone minerality jumps out of the glass. Every time I gave it a good swirl, the wine offered a different layer of minerality. On palate it is soooooo silky and plush with a balanced attack of honey, orange marmalade, white flowers, and layers upon layers of minerality. The finish is smooth with lingering butterscotch taste. Excellent wine, 96pts
