Nuts, sherry, oxidized notes on the nose, but still plenty of fruit and complex notes of nuts, dried apricots, and just a bit of that white Rhone oily palate feel. Rather than fading, it got more complex and nuanced over a couple of hours, and a last glass the next day hadn't lost any complexity or intensity. Medium complex finish. I have to think this is aging rapidly based on the color and the initial impression, but who knows? Right now - excellent.
