Thursday, December 23, 2010 - nose is open with some sweet red fruit smells, some cloves. wonderful pinot noir nose. no heat detected. fully resolved. very nice acidity and balance...nothing sticking out. some mineral notes but decidedly CA pinot especially compared to the Adelsheim served alongside it. Made a nice match with a roast chicken with thyme dinner with some herbed spaghetti and zucchini. Very happy at how well this was drinking. Last bottle of 3.
