Saturday, October 10, 2009 - A very nice, complex nose with cocoa, liquorice, raspberries and smoke. The same flavors follow coupled with lots of muted cedar and well integrated tannins. I imagine this was somewhat clumsy in it's youth, but it's beautifully made and drinking well right now. The heavy handed oak remains it's only big distraction.
