The grenacha blending is most likely responsible for the nice mid palate jammy effect and this wine has a slight Chateauneuf character. This was consumed over a few nights with no special storage other than putting the cork back on the bottle. This is a very good sign for a wine to hold up so well over a few nights without coming apart. It is dinking like it is in its prime with everything in balance.
