Friday, January 11, 2013 - Brick-ruby color. Aromas of black cherry, orange rind, fennel & eucalyptus start things off. Bright red fruit on the palate with hints of licorice, spice and pine-earth. Good acid and roundness throughout, and a juicy full finish with smooth tannins. As others have stated, this really comes alive after about an hour, a little delicately disjointed prior to that. Very good. Mature-drink up.
