Tuesday, December 24, 2013 - Rioja at its best, for my palate. This is leather, red and dark fruit, warm rich American oak but bright and refreshing on the palate. A newer style than some riojas but not the punch in the face that others have become. Tannins are perfectly integrated now but people who like them super soft may want to wait another few years. 13.5%. $30.
