Friday, September 28, 2018 - Very nice expressive Rioja, probably still a few years too early. The nose is more like 95 - you smell chocolate, caramel and all the good fruity stuff, but there is somehow underdelivery on the palate - perhaps unresolved acidity. I have not compared this to the regular ardanza, so cannot comment on the "only three vintages in history" stuff...
