Sunday, July 5, 2015 - Near peak performance. Did benefit from a couple of hour decant as it deepened and integrated with air. Drank alongside a beautiful 2007 Hobbs Napa cab but felt this wine had more energy than the Hobbs while still exhibiting rich fruit and chocolate notes. The finish of the Lede was longer, fresher and more complementary to food. Body was not quite as heavy as the Hobbs and there was an element of baking spices.
