Wednesday, September 2, 2009 - Decanted 30 minutes. Took a good hour to really get the aromatics going. Red currant and plum, wet tobacco, some cedar, and underbrush notes. Somewhat leaner palate, but still had very nice sweet red fruits. Nice mineral notes and some very good acidity on the finish. Still a bit tannic, but showing very nice right now with plenty of air.
