Monday, October 26, 2020 - Nice lil quaffer to celebrate our first night in Seattle. A lot of stress happening with the move, so it didn't matter that it wasn't super complex or memorable. Very tasty in the end, although perhaps not the best choice for ~$23.

In general it had some impressive fruit, a lot of yellow apple as previous commenters describe and some sort of golden raisin note. Not a lot of toast or obvious lees-aging character- anything that isn't fruit is very vague here. I'd say that the fruit was impressive on its own, but the ripeness wasn't balanced enough by acidity to feel complete- it had energy, but needed more. Thus, I think it feels a little sweeter than it actually is. Enjoyable yes, maybe not my fave for inexpensive bubbly.
