Sunday, September 25, 2016 - Magnum night in the CLE (The Penthouse at IMG Headquarters in Downtown Cleveland): One of the co-WOTN's. From Magnum. The bottle was open and allowed to breathe for about 12 hours prior to serving. I think it helped. Gorgeous nose of black raspberries, black pepper, grilled meats, and violets. Also some chocolate. On the palate, exquisite texture. Silky yet velvety. Power yet balance. Deft on the palate. Lots of black raspberry fruit, depth and tight layers of pepper, minerals and fruit. Long finish. Wonderful wine. My red WOTN.
