Monday, January 11, 2016 - This wine has many years left and is nowhere near over the hill; noting this as I see someone tagged this drink before 2015 max. Much riper than I expected for an 08, but not at all overly ripe in any way. Characteristic aromas of Mexican milk chocolate and cinnamon, unfiltered cider a bit; but a plump red berry fruit makes a very balanced and alluring wine. So glad I held it all these years. I should buy those 97s.
