Tuesday, September 14, 2010 - Jacques Prieur Tasting and Cellar Visit (Meursault): Tasting at Domaine. Interestingly, this was one of the first wines to complete malolactic fermentation, in early spring. really great primary fruit, surprisingly red for a Chambertin. Nose and palate show raspberry and red cherry, which starts rather moderately but picks up great intensity towards the end. Very long, powerful finish with lots of spice. Impressive.
