Thursday, September 9, 2010 - Domaine Lafon Cellar Visit and Tasting (Meursault): Barrel tasting at Domaine. Reds haven't been racked at all. Darker fruit on nose - blackberry, black cherry and cherry liqueur. Lots of tannin quite prominent along with acids and minerality, this is a more dense and powerful style of Volnay, which I didn't like quite as much today as Lafon's Chenes or Santenots.
