Saturday, April 16, 2016 - Northern Rhone Tastings; 4/15/2016-4/16/2016: Tasted at the domaine. Aromas of anise, smoked meats, violets and black cherry. The palate is bold and rich, retaining balance, and showing black fruit, with notes of iron, black olive, herbs and smoke. Silky tannins, and a big finish. Excellent.
