Sunday, October 7, 2007 - Surprisingly good for an '03 -- started out a bit closed but after 2.5 hours in the decanter opened up to wonderful notes of: flowers, cherry and spice. Almost like a Russian River Pinot but w/o the obvious fruit and spice (note: I love RR pinot). Nice palate and mouthfeel -- finish went on and on. Probably should have waited another 2-3 years to drink my only bottle of this stuff. Will definitely keep exploring Burgundy.
