Saturday, May 25, 2013 - Dinner @ Salil's (Vernon, CT): While some thought this might have been a bit musty when first opened, I thought it was wonderful... and got better with air. Classic aged Bordeaux notes, with well resolved tannins and a smooth textural presence. Nice earthy, mulchy, sous bois notes, with dried fruits that sweetened up with air. Not a lot of weight but flavorful and elegant.
