Wednesday, December 6, 1989 - At home at dinner (pasta). Dark ruby-purple. Very deep, grapey nose; not overripe. Very attractive. In the mouth, loads of tannin, but very rich ripe fruit underneath. Great body and balance. A big, gutsy, full-throttle Cabernet. Concentrated and packed with fruit. A touch of mint at the finish for good measure. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.
