Wednesday, April 5, 2023 - Now soft and drinking very well. Definitely musky and luscious still, with bright red fruit and baking spice and forest floor and a bit of oak, but now beginning to show bottle age. Went amazingly well with the braised lamb shanks at our seder. Next day: bouquet is a total knockout, with a floral note (violets) and a high note (petrol?) that I didn't catch yesterday. Long finish. So good.
