Sunday, November 20, 2011 - I couldn't stay away after recent delivery. Light golden color. Fresh citrus, orange, and hints of vanilla bean (mild) on the nose. Crisp clean palate, with a little melon and burst of acidity. Concentrated, but not overly so. Finishes clean and vibrant, with a nice mineral edge with ripe melon fruit repeating. Clean transparent wine, with the faintest hint of oak, but a very strong vibrant palate and nice mineral edge. Very nice Chard. Rounds out in the mouth with air as others have noted.
