Saturday, December 10, 2011 - Consumed over 2 nights. Light delicate floral nose with a "stemmy" quality with cherry pit. Fine polished acidic palate, slighty tart and austere with strong cherry pit and licorice quality--very pure clean and seeming concentrated while elegant fruit. Medium to long finish with fine polished tannins and chalky stoney character. Very good but too young and drinking a little below the hype level. That being said I think this will be a special wine in 5+yrs. Should improve greatly.
