Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - As others note, I wanted to taste to scratch the itch of my anxiety over the reports of brett in some bottles, and I may have imagined initial reduction upon opening that blew off. I double decanted and put back sidewise for 6 hours. Pretty dark cherry fruit on the nose, with silky cherry juice backed by smooth tannins and a little spice on the palate. I left a glass for two days, but too much air for that little of wine.
