The wine developed very nicely in the glass and after about 2-3 hours was really hitting well. Very complex nose that would fool me for a burgundy as it was earthy but surrounded by subtle fruit flavors like strawberry, raspberry, some minerality. Very smooth and soft on the palate, low acidity, not overly rich but picked up some weight in mid palate. This is a very nice wine and much more Burgundian in style compared to a lot of other CA pinots.
