Sunday, November 27, 2016 - Darkly hued red, translucent, with some bricking. Feral, earth, funk, sous bois on the nose, with some volatility. Savory, sanguine, soy, animal hide, red plum flavors. Very bright and racy, mid- to light-weight, acidity is balanced by chewy tannin, a bit drying. Fun, jovial, distinct, good lunch wine; a little murky but with fine regional character.
