Sunday, September 19, 2021 - This was a big surprise, served blind to three others: my surprise was how well this showed after being totally unimpressed with this on two occasions five years ago. Did not expect this to age well! Full yellow color, nose and palate of ripe apple, honey with a lemon top note; rich and ripe but no flab here as the ample acidity seemed to pull it all together. Everyone else’s surprise? That it wasn’t a gran cru!
