Wednesday, July 16, 2014 - Surprised by this Denner Zin. I thought it would be a serious fruit bomb but it wasn't at all. It was a little on the plummier side, but not overly fruit forward at all. Cherry notes on the front and velvetty smooth plum after decant. A little dry, acidic, somewhat harsh on the finish. Sophisticated jam, dark fruits. Can't wait to try the 2010 next.
