Sunday, April 12, 2015 - Dark garnet with med-heavy viscosity in the glass. Earth, raspberry compote, blueberry cobbler, tobacco, currant, pepper and cedar on the nose. Full body, beautifully textured and persistent with jammy raspberry, brambly boysenberry, earth, BBQ, toast, tar, cigar, spice and herbs on the palate. Hints of s’more on the back palate. Long finish. Competitive with Turley’s Paso zins.
