Thursday, July 30, 2015 - Impeccable terroir. Great vintage. Fabulous vintner. This wine was wondrous when I drank it in 2013, and again in 2014. Now, it borders on extraordinary in every way. The robust body and purple color arrest the eye. The complex aromas of spices and dark fruits entices the nose. The captivating palate of ripe plums, full berries, fine leathers and legendary oaks delight the palate. A lengthy finish adds exotic cocoas, refined vanillas, and luxurious glycerin. Utter nobility for a price that is plebeian.
