Tuesday, March 26, 2019 - Retasted after one hour decanting. Exceptional hue , golden or almost like copper. Nose complex and mature dominated by baked and oxidised apples, then rhubarb, and now mature pineapple and fresh papaya. Mouth frankly straight and sharp with green lemon juice, acidity and bitter of the peal, starting with a hint of honey, old Rhum then the previously described fruits are completely overtook by the structure and the energy. Fantastic savagnin, but not for average tasters. Needs company and food.
