Saturday, December 11, 2021 - Perfectly aged. Decanted for an hour which allowed the fruit to shine through. Floral bouquet consisting of dried violets and currants. The palate shows ripe cherries and blackberry with earth tones of mushroom and forest floor. The tannins have faded and allow the true depth of the wine to shine through. The finish holds on for a long time and dances on the palate while you hold back from taking another sip so that the feeling lasts.
